Where should I start..

I started to read blogs when I entered university. I'm always amazed with people that can write and tell good stories. I am one of those who love to read blogs but never really want to have one. But here I am..writing stuffs..with the hope I can honestly and passionately share my views and interests with the readers out there. I would say I am now an active reader/follower of few blogs.. Everyday without fail I'll browse through few blogs that I think could give me the updates I want [esp. gossips xoxo;)] and thanks to my beloved phone for making the browsing easier...heee....

Okay... as for the very first story..let's talk about my passion. I have a passion in teaching.. I always love to share knowledge and I hope to shape our generation for better future ---> isn't this sounds like an answer for an interview? hahahahha... Okay again..let me start the real story about my passion... I always loooovvvveeeee foooooodddd!! But who doesn't? okay another passion or obsession that I want to share with you would be 'KAIN' or cloth/fabric/material for 'Baju kurung'....I guess I prefer to call it Kain..Be it cotton, lace, chiffon, silk, batik.. I just love them!

I always love to buy them and keep them as collection..I even keep them nicely in a box, which becomes an issue to some of my best friends (you guys know who you are)... They said..people usually send kain to tailor after they bought them..not keeping them in a box..They said I'm so obsessed with kain..I wasn't aware of it till few of my close friends started to complaint : 'Hey zura..u bukan dah banyak kain ke?' 'Zura..u kan dah beli kain last week'...'Babe..ko giler ke babe nak beli kain lagi!'.... and bla..bla..bla.. And I guess they really make me realised that I have enough stocks of kain already... heeee =)

But let me tell you a secret.. The feeling of owning all the kain is indescribable.. I just feel happy by looking at them. Maybe it's the same feeling our grandmas or mothers feel when they see their collection of kain batik. Priceless! It's like having something as a legacy... and I can pass it down to my next generation.. hahahahhaa...But to be honest, I don't intend to keep them for another 10 years.. i just save the kain for the near future.. I don't feel like sending them to tailor..I just want to keep them..and please don't ask me why.. =)

Food for my soul....

saree from jackel...

batik from indon..

cotton from penang...
